Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of mrmr, a voice-first interface for macOS ("the App," "mrmr," "the Service"), operated by Mohammad Hamza Suhail, based in Ireland ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account, downloading, or using mrmr, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What mrmr does

mrmr is a macOS application that enables voice-based dictation, search, and action execution across connected applications. The Service includes:

• Dictation Mode: Voice-to-text transcription in any text field on macOS
• Search Mode: Voice-triggered search across configurable search engines
• Action Mode: Voice command parsing and execution across connected third-party services such as Slack, Linear, Google Calendar, Google Tasks, Google Meet, and Zoom

mrmr relies on third-party AI providers for transcription and language processing, and on third-party integration platforms to connect with your workspace applications.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use mrmr. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

If you are using mrmr in connection with a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and that your organization permits the use of third-party tools that connect to its workspace systems (such as Slack, Linear, and Google Calendar).

4. Accounts

You must create an account to use mrmr. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at h@getmrmr.com.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that remain inactive for an extended period, with reasonable notice where possible.

5. Beta access

mrmr is currently in private beta. During the beta period:

• The Service is provided free of charge
• Features, integrations, and capabilities may change, be added, or be removed without notice
• The Service may contain bugs, errors, or interruptions
• We may limit or revoke access at our discretion
• We will announce pricing before any paid plans launch, with reasonable notice

Beta access does not guarantee future access to the Service or any specific features.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use mrmr to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Transmit malicious content, spam, or unauthorized bulk messages through connected integrations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to mrmr's systems, other users' accounts, or connected third-party services
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others through connected integrations
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others when executing actions through connected services
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service in a way that exceeds normal human usage patterns
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are violating these terms.

7. Connected integrations

mrmr connects to third-party services through OAuth-based authorization. When you connect an integration:

• You authorize mrmr to access and interact with that service on your behalf, within the scope of permissions you grant
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect your organization's tools to mrmr
• Actions executed through mrmr are performed using your credentials and permissions in the connected service - mrmr does not elevate your access beyond what you already have
• You can disconnect any integration at any time through the App

mrmr uses Composio to manage integration connections. By connecting an integration, you also agree to Composio's applicable terms.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or behavior of third-party services. If a connected service changes its API, terms, or availability, mrmr's integration with that service may be affected.

8. Action execution and confirmation

Action Mode parses your voice commands and generates structured actions for execution across connected services. Before any action executes:

• mrmr shows you a confirmation UI with the proposed actions
• You can review, edit, or cancel any action before it runs
• Nothing executes without your explicit approval

Once you confirm an action, it is executed using your connected accounts. You are responsible for reviewing and approving actions before confirmation. mrmr is not liable for the consequences of actions you confirm and execute, including messages sent, tickets created, events scheduled, or meetings started.

9. Your content

"Your Content" includes any text, voice input, commands, screenshots, images, or other material you provide to the Service.

You retain ownership of Your Content. By using the Service, you grant mrmr a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service - including transcribing audio, parsing intents, executing actions, and displaying results.

We do not use Your Content to train AI models. Your voice input is processed by third-party AI providers for transcription and intent parsing, subject to their terms. We do not store raw audio on our servers.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you provide to mrmr, including screenshots that may contain third-party information.

10. Intellectual property

mrmr, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described here.

You may not use the mrmr name, logo, or branding without our prior written consent.

11. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

12. Availability and changes

We aim to keep mrmr available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may:

• Modify, update, or discontinue features with or without notice
• Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
• Change system requirements for the App

For material changes that significantly affect your use of the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mrmr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We specifically disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Transcription or intent parsing will be accurate in all cases
• Actions will execute correctly in all circumstances across all connected services
• The Service will be compatible with all macOS configurations

This section does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity
• Costs of substitute services
• Damages arising from actions executed through connected services after your confirmation
• Damages arising from third-party service outages, API changes, or data breaches at third-party providers

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Actions executed through connected services after your confirmation
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit through the Service

16. Termination

You may stop using mrmr and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:

• You violate these Terms
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the Service

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ends immediately
• We will delete your server-side account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Local data on your device is your responsibility to delete
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing in this section affects your right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence, or any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.

18. General

• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and mrmr regarding the Service.
• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
• Notices: We may send notices to the email address associated with your account. You may send notices to h@getmrmr.com.
